The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) is probing the deaths of three persons in separate incidents involving the police.

INDECOM says 27 year old security guard, Sashan Hibbert, was shot and killed yesterday at Henley Road, Kingston 11.

It says Hibbert was among a group of four men who reportedly engaged a police team.

The investigative body is probing the killing of Richard Hylton also known as ‘Uncle’ and the injuring of Ronald Ouboine last Friday.

INDECOM says in that incident Richard and Ouboine were in a car with another man which was signalled to stop by a police patrol team.

It says one man reportedly ran from the vehicle while another pulled a firearm and opened fire.

The police say the men were injured in the exchange.

Meanwhile, INDECOM is also probing the shooting death of Dwaine Anthony Smith along Robins Road, Olympic Gardens on Saturday.

The police say they were in the area when they stopped three men.

They say while the men were being searched one pulled a gun and opened fire.

The police say the fire was returned and Smith was injured while the two other men ran away.
