The second round of questioning for a suspect who is implicated in the shooting of his colleague broadcaster, Jody-Ann Gray, is to get underway at this hour.
He should have been questioned yesterday.
But that did not materialise as the investigators in the case did not show up.
The question and answer session was put off until 5 o’clock this afternoon.
The man is being represented by attorneys, Christopher Townsend and Tameka Harris.
Townsend has indicated that he will be seeking his client’s release tomorrow if today’s session is put off.
The individual was taken into custody minutes after Gray, who is 7 months’ pregnant, was attacked at her home in Portmore, St Catherine, a week ago.
He was held along with two other men in a car close to the scene of the shooting.
The police say the car was registered to the man and a woman who shares his last name.
Gray gave a statement to the police on Saturday, two days after undergoing surgery to remove a bullet that was lodged below her chin.
