The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that the Worthy Park to St Johnís main road in St Catherine will be closed temporarily to vehicular traffic tomorrow morning.
The closure will be between 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
The agency says the temporary closure of the roadway is to facilitate the replacement of a collapsed culvert in the vicinity of Top Hill.
It says recent flood rains in the area caused the road to breakaway and the culvert to collapse.
Motorists who wish to travel between Worthy Park and Clarendon during the period of closure will have to travel to Ewarton, Bog Walk, Old Harbour then on to Clarendon.
The NWA is advising motorists to proceed with caution, obey posted warning signs and the instructions of flag persons.
