Jamaica could benefit from a number of bilateral arrangements arising from discussions at the Sixth Summit of the Americas held in Colombia last week.

Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller made the announcement yesterday, but said she would inform the country of those arrangements after she reports to the Cabinet.

Simpson Miller led Jamaica’s delegation to the Summit which was also attended by some 30 heads of state, including United States President Barack Obama.

Speaking to journalists yesterday, the Prime Minister described it as a very good Summit and said a lot was achieved.

Meanwhile, the Hellshire housing development is being undertaken by the National Housing Trust and will consist of 130 two-bedroom detached units, 50 three-bedroom detached units and 46 serviced lots.
