Education ministry seeks partnerships

The education minister Reverend Ronald says the ministry will be seeking to partner with certain groups to ensure that the quality of education is not affected by impending restrictions to the education budget.

Yesterday, Thwaites announced that the Government will not be able to increase the education Budget this year.

As a result, he is encouraging parents to endeavour to pay their children’s auxiliary fees.

Reverend Thwaites said while the government is unable to provide subsidies for private schools, there are other ways the ministry will try to keep them open.
