Premier of Nevis Joseph Parry has welcomed the decision by a Montserrat-based airline to expand its operations by including daily flights between Nevis and Antigua.

The airline, Fly Montserrat, has reportedly received route licenses with the new service expected to begin on the fourth of June.

While the fares on Fly Montserrat are now being finalised the airline said they should be similar to what passengers are now paying with the regional airline, LIAT.

The airline said it also expects to expand by offering more flights as demand increases.
