Five-year-old Mikalia Manasseh who was reported missing from home in Great Pond, St Ann since early Monday morning has returned home safely.

Mikalia mysteriously turned up at the family residence late last night.

Family members reported that they were inside the house when they heard the little girl calling for her mother sometime after 11 o’clock.

She was taken to the St Ann’s Bay hospital for medical attention.

Mikalia was discovered missing around 3 o’clock Monday morning.

Several searches by the police assisted by family members and friends after that, failed to provide any lead as to what had happened to the little girl.

An Ananda Alert was issued for Mikalia.

However, all fears were put to rest when family members said they heard the little girl calling for her mom from the back of the yard.

The police say they are continuing their investigation into the case.
