400 pounds ganja seized in Kingston

The police are reporting the seizure of more than 400 pounds of ganja at a business place on Hagley Park Road, Kingston 11 yesterday.

They say the contraband was found in 12 metal drums containing liquid soap.

According to the police, nine packages of compressed ganja wrapped in masking tape, were found in metal containers attached to the inside of the drums.

The operation was conducted by members of the Transnational Crimes and Narcotics Divisional Ports team and the Contraband Enforcement Team.
