Hosts Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 37 runs in the opening 20/20 International in Hambantota a short while ago.
Set a victory target of 132, Pakistan were bowled out for 95 in 17.4 overs. Ahmed Shehzad top scored for Pakistan with 36 off 42 balls.
Earlier, Sri Lanka were restricted to 132 for seven after electing to bat with Thisara Perera 32 not out and Lahiru Thirimanne 30 scoring most of the runs.
Sohail Tanvir ended with three for 12.
