Australian Olympic swimmers Nick D'Arcy and Kenrick Monk have been cautioned by officials, after photographs appeared on social media sites of the pair brandishing shotguns in California.
It is believed the photos were taken during a pre-London Olympic Games meet from which the duo are returning, with Swimming Australia officials ordering they be taken down.
In a statement, Swimming Australia condemned the pair's behaviour.
D'Arcy is no stranger to controversy having been dropped from the 2008 Beijing Olympics team after king-hitting fellow swimmer Simon Cowley.
Monk also landed himself in hot water when he claimed he broke his elbow in a hit-and-run incident last year, before admitting he fell off his skateboard.
