The Jamaican police are now awaiting the results of forensic tests done on the body found in a cane field in St James this week believed to be that of missing Trinidad & Tobago teacher Michelle Coudray-Greaves.

This according to acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Devon Watkis who says the tests were conducted by experts using the dental records and other samples brought to Jamaica by the mother of the missing woman.

Coudray-Greaves has been missing for nearly two weeks.

She was last seen on June 8 at Cornwall College, where she had gone to volunteer to help a group of students prepare for a final exam.

On Monday the badly burnt body of a female was found in a cane field on the outskirts of Montego Bay, but police investigators have not been able to confirm that it is that of Coudray-Greaves.

Her mother Marlene Coudray, who is the Mayor of San Fernando, in Trinidad, arrived in Jamaica on Thursday with dental records and other samples to help investigators identify the body.

ACP Watkis says the results of the tests will be known this week.
