INDECOM probes Matthews Lane shooting

The Independent Commission of Investigations has been called to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified man who was shot by police in the Matthews Lane area of Kingston last night.

The Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) reports that the man was shot at about 10:15 last night during a confrontation with the police.

The CCN says a homemade pistol and a nine millimetre cartridge were seized during the incident.
