World leaders meeting at the G20 summit in Mexico have urged Europe to take all necessary measures to overcome the eurozone debt crisis.

The world leaders were voicing their unease over the growing crisis which one official described as the single biggest risk for the world economy.

However, European Commission President, Jose Manuel Barroso, said the challenges are not confined to Europe, but the entire globe.

Sunday's victory of a pro-bailout party in the Greek Parliamentary elections did not give stock markets the boost that analysts had predicted.

The New Democracy Party narrowly won the elections and its leader Antonis Samaras has begun urgent talks to form a coalition.

Samaras also says he will seek changes to the terms of Greece’s bailout agreements with the European Union and the International Monetary Fund.
