August Town men surrender to cops

One of the three men who were yesterday listed as wanted by the August Town police in Kingston has turned himself in.

The police say Romaine Simmonds also called Robba turned himself over earlier today.

Two men who were listed as persons of interest are also in police custody.

They are Omar Walker, otherwise called ‘Thirteen’, and Marvin Dubidad, otherwise called ‘Simeon’.

The men along with five others were being sought in connection with the shooting death of two men in August Town over the weekend.

Two others were also injured in that attack.

In the meantime, the police are still appealing to Dwayne Markland and Roham Myles otherwise called ‘Chicky Bird’, who were also listed as wanted to surrender.

They are also urging Jehus Ferguson, Julando Stephens, otherwise called ‘Pelpa’ and Michael Stephens, also known as Scrappy to turn themselves in to the Papine police by 4 p.m. today.

Those men were also listed as persons of interest in connection with the August Town double murder.

Meanwhile, anyone knowing the whereabouts of the wanted men or the persons of interest are being asked to contact the Papine Police at 927-2047 or 927-2849 or call 119.
