Body of unknown man found in Westmoreland

The body of an unidentified man, believed to be in his 30s, was found this morning in a cane field in Llandilo, Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland.

According to reports from the Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) about 7:45 this morning, a passerby discovered the body and called the police.

The body was clad in a beige t-shirt and beige pants. It is medium build, of dark complexion; about five feet, 10 inches long and has a low-cut hairstyle.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have any information that may assist them in identifying the body to contact the Savanna-la-Mar Police at 955-2536 or 955-2758, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
