The case involving a Manchester woman and her boyfriend who are charged with the murder of her mother has been put off until Wednesday.

Roxanne Lottory and Otis Hutchinson have been charged with the June 21 murder of 43-year-old Melanie Lindo Thompson in Craig Head, Manchester.

But when they made their first appearance in court this morning, the case was put off because Lottory did not show up for court.

It was reported last month that neighbours found Lindo Thompson dead at her home in Carter District, Craig Head.

The body had multiple stab wounds.

The murder is believed to be the result of a domestic dispute.
