A bail application could be made today for embattled dancehall entertainer Vybz Kartel, who has been in custody since September last year.

Kartel is to return to the Home Circuit Court today in relation to the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.

Williams was reportedly beaten and stabbed at a house in Havendale, St. Andrew, on August 16 last year.

The attack on Williams was reportedly in relation to a lost firearm.

Five other men are charged jointly with Kartel whose real name is Adidja Palmer.

In the meantime, Kartel is also booked to reappear in the Home Circuit Court today in relation to the murder of St. Catherine businessman Barrington ‘Bossy’ Burton.

Palmer is on bail in that matter but cannot take up the bond, since he has been remanded in connection with the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.
