Bolt says he may run four events in London

Olympic champion Usain Bolt says he may go for four gold medals by running the 4 x 400-metre relay in London.

Bolt said he will make a decision regarding the 4 x 400-metre relay following the 200 metres.

Bolt's fitness has been a source of speculation following his 100 and 200-metre defeats by training partner Yohan Blake at the Jamaican Olympic trials.

However, the 25-year-old says he has overcome back and hamstring problems and is ready to defend his Olympic titles in London.

Bolt said he is probable 95 per cent fit but in great shape. He further says the London Olympics is the moment that is going to define his entire life.

Bolt has repeatedly stated that he wants to become a legend. Bolt said he will become a legend by repeating his Beijing performances in London.

Bolt became one of the biggest names in sport after winning gold medals in the 100, 200 and 4 by 100-metre relay at the Beijing Olympics four years ago, all in world record times.
