Two people died as a result of injuries they received during a three-vehicle collision on Old Hope Road, Kingston 6, last night.

So far, the police have only identified one of the victims – 42-year-old Gastun Steer – a taxi operator of Papine, Kingston 6.

The Papine Police say about 7:45 p.m., a Toyota Corolla motorcar was travelling toward Papine when it hit a motor car travelling in the same direction.

The driver lost control of the vehicle and then collided with a Toyota Hiace bus travelling in the opposite direction.

The injured were taken to hospital where Steer and the other person were pronounced dead.
