Jamaican trio through to 200m semis

The Jamaican trio of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Sherone Simpson and Veronica Campbell Brown has advanced to the semi-finals of the women’s 200m.

Simpson who ran in heat three was placed third in 22.97.



Campbell-Brown clocked 22.75 to end in third position in heat five while Fraser Pryce ran 22.71 in heat six to qualify for the next round.

The women’s 200m semis will be run tomorrow at 2:25 p.m (Jamaica time)
