Parchment through to 110m hurdles final

Jamaicaís Hansle Parchment clocked a national record to qualify for the menís 110-metre hurdles final at the London 2012 Olympics.

Parchment clocked 13.14 to finish second behind Cubaís Dayron Robles in the third semi-final.

Robles won in 13.10.

Parchmentís time represents the fourth fastest going into the final, which is scheduled for 3:15 this afternoon.

Americaís Aris Merritt, 12.94, advanced with the fastest time.

Richard Parchment, the other Jamaican, did not finish his heat after crashing into one of the hurdles.
