No charges yet for man listed as 'person of interest' by police

The Kingston Western police have not yet charged one of five men who turned themselves in after being listed as a person of interest.

His name has not been released, but head of the Kingston Western police division Senior Superintendent Terrence Bent says the man remains in custody and could be charged after he is questioned in the presence of his attorney.

The others were questioned and released.

The five men who turned themselves in have been identified as Corey Hervin, Lamar Davis, Xavier Tomlinson, Aaron Thompson and Kevin Lyons.

The others who remain at large are: Steve Scott, Everald Powell, Andaine Smith, Damion Osbourne, Lennox Alvaranga, Orane Glen, Glendon McIntosh and Odean Smith.

Bent says they were listed as persons of interest in connection with several crimes committed in the division.

The Kingston Western police is urging persons with information on their whereabouts to contact the Denham Town Police at 923-6411, Police emergency 119 or the nearest police station.
