Several persons have been injured in a motor vehicle crash along the St D’Acre main road in St Ann.

It is reported that the injured were taken to the St Ann’s Bay hospital.

The Alexandria Police told The Gleanerthat the crash occurred around 11:45 a.m.

One passenger said a truck was overtaking another when it collided with the minibus which was transporting passengers, including students.

Commander for the parish, Senior Superintendent Carlton Wilson, said the injured people have been taken to hospital.
