The firearm trial of reputed gang leader Christopher ‘Dog Paw’ Linton is to continue today.

Linton is before the Gun Court on a charge of illegal possession of a firearm.

The charge stemmed from his capture at a house in August Town, St. Andrew in January last year.

It is reported that a joint police-military team had gone to the house to capture Linton, who had eluded several dragnets.

It is further reported that during a search, a firearm allegedly belonging to Linton was found in a refrigerator.

Two policemen have testified that on the day Linton was held, he showed them the firearm hidden in the refrigerator.

Linton was subsequently arrested and charged with illegal possession of the firearm.

Supreme Court Judge Marjorie Cole-Smith is trying the case.
