A suspect is now in police custody for the rape of a 16 year old girl in Downs District, Manchester on Sunday.
The girl was reportedly held at gun point and raped in bushes as she was walking home with a male relative Sunday night.
The suspect was caught on Tuesday and taken into custody for questioning in relation to the crime.
In the meantime, the taxi driver held in connection with last Thursday’s rape of a 12-year-old girl in Mandeville is to face an ID parade shortly.
