JUTC ends service at 7 o'clock this evening

Published: Thursday October 25, 2012 | 5:32 pm Comments 0

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company’s (JUTC) service says it will terminate its public bus services at 7 p.m. today.

The JUTC says this is because of the challenges posed by the wide-scale absence of public power supply since the passage of Hurricane Sandy yesterday.

According to the company, it has reviewed its operational challenges and they are expected to worsen as nightfall approaches.

It says tomorrow, the JUTC will resume services with its normal schedule, subject to isolated cases hindrances that may be encountered.
