Three policemen from the Trelawny division, who allegedly solicited money from a man after telling him he was wanted by the police, were on the weekend arrested and charged by members of the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB).

The law men were pointed out during an identification parade on the weekend.
The three policemen - one corporal and two constables- were arrested after the ACB launched an investigation following a report that the men were paid a portion of money.

The policemen were subsequently arrested and charged. All three are to appear before the Falmouth Resident Magistrate’s Court later this week.
