Unidentified man drowns in Victoria Pier

The City Centre Police are investigating a suspected case of drowning in downtown Kingston.

The body of an unidentified man was pulled from the ocean at Victoria Pier.

The police said yesterday morning persons at the pier saw the body in the water and raised an alarm.

The police responded, pulled the body from the water, and removed it to the morgue for post mortem.

The dead man is of dark complexion, medium build and about 5 feet 8 inches tall.

The police saidthe man, who is believed to have been in his forties, was dressed in a multi-coloured shirt and a pair of khaki pants.
