Deported ex-cop faces court for corruption

An ex-policeman who was recently deported from the United States is to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court today on corruption charges.

The police say Neil Gayle was arrested and charged yesterday by members of the Anti Corruption Branch.

In 2010, he was being investigated in connection with a bribe from a motorist but fled to America while under probe.
