Two men are in police custody pending an investigation into the seizure of more than one thousand pounds of ganja by members of the Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division and the St. James Police Division yesterday morning.

The names of both men are being withheld pending further investigations.

The police say a team conducted a six-hour operation, which began about 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday and premises in the Success Beach area of the community were searched.

Following the raid, 39 bags containing compressed ganja weighing 1,380 pounds were reportedly found.
