A gas truck has overturned at the Sangster International Airport roundabout.

The incident has resulted in a huge traffic pile up and vehicular access to the airport has been restricted.

In the meantime, Queen's Drive has been converted to single lane traffic.

Visitors trying to catch their flights out of Jamaica have to disembark their buses at the roundabout and make their way to the airport on foot with their luggage.

Emergency officials are now dumping sand on the road, even as gas continues to leak from the overturned tank.
