The Transport Authority has confirmed that General Manager for Operations at the Transport Authority Cecil Morgan is no longer with the agency.

However, the reason for his departure has not been revealed.

Communications Manager at the Authority, Petra-Keane Williams would only say systems have been put in place to ensure a smooth operation.

Morgan is the second senior officer to leave the Authority in recent months.

Late last year, Daniel Dawes was removed as managing director amid complaints from staff and public transport operators about his management style.
