Students warned against posting pictures and comments online

The executive director of the Broadcasting Commission is warning students against posting inappropriate comments and picturesonline.

Cordel Green said in the long run these postings could affect the job prospects of thestudents.

Green was addressing students of the St. Andrew Technical High School inKingston.He is also reminding students that revealing their location through social networking sites could make them easy targets forpreys.

Two weeks ago, a student from Manchester was found in the company of a man inPortland.

She is said to have met the man through the social networking site Facebook.
