The police yesterday evening recovered two firearms in separate incidents in St Ann and St Andrew.

He was accosted and searched and a home-made gun with a .38 round found in his possession. He was taken into custody.

While in St Ann, the police arrested three men after they seized a firearm in Beechamville, Claremont in the parish. The CCN says about 11:30 last night, the police found a semi-automatic pistol as they searched a house during an operation in the area. The occupants of the house were subsequently taken into custody.
