JDF recruitment scam

Published: Thursday February 28, 2013 | 6:58 pm Comments 0

The Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) is warning persons not to be deceived into paying money for recruitment into the force.

The JDF says unscrupulous persons have been impersonating soldiers and soliciting money in exchange for recruiting opportunities in the Force.

But the JDF says it does not accept money from anyone as part of its recruitment efforts.

It is warning people not to pay over money to anyone claiming to be able to influence the selection of new recruits.

The JDF is asking anyone who is aware of such activities or have been victims to contact the police Organized Crime Investigation Division.
