Anti-Corruption Branch nabs district constable

The police are reporting that a district constable attached to the Area Three police division, was nabbed during an operation conducted by members of the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) yesterday.

It is reported that the police officer discovered that a home owner made an illegal connection to gain electricity to his home, which led to the seizure of a television.

It is alleged that the district constable solicited $30,000 from the home owner for the return of the television.

The matter was reported to the ACB and the officer was nabbed.
