Lobby group Campaign for Social and Economic Justice will on Wednesday outline its next course of action to press the Government to mount an international enquiry into the 2010 Tivoli Gardens operation.

The lobby group says it is disappointed that it has not received a response to a petition it delivered to Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller requesting the enquiry.

The group and residents of West Kingston made the request last month and said they would give the prime minister 30 days to respond.

Those 30 days have passed.

Convener of the lobby group Lloyd D'Aguilar says the group is to step up its efforts to get an enquiry into the 2010 Tivoli Gardens incursion.

More than 70 persons were killed in the operations in West Kingston in 2010.

Resident also complained of abuses and extrajudicial killings by the security forces.
