ATHLETICS: Fraser-Pryce to run at Paris Diamond League

Jamaica’s double Olympic 100-metre champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has been added to the line-up for the Paris Diamond League Meeting on July 6.

Fraser-Pryce will contest the women’s 100-metre dash where she will face Ivory Coast record holder Murielle Ahoure, Ivet Lalova and Myriam Soumare.

Fraser-Pryce, who owns the fastest time in the world so far this year with her 10.93, is expected to go after the meeting record of 10.88 seconds.

She joins countryman Usain Bolt as star athletes at the meet.
