Tropical Storm Dorian expected to weaken tomorrow

The Meteorological Service says the latest weather system, Tropical Storm Dorian is expected to week over cooler waters tomorrow.

At 4:00 p.m. the centre of Tropical Storm Dorian was located near Latitude 14.6 degrees north and Longitude 31.4 degrees west or about 810 kilometres west of the Cape Verde Islands.

Dorian is moving towards the west-northwest near 32 kilometres per hour.

This general motion is expected to continue during the next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds remain near 85 kilometres per hour, with higher gusts.

Tropical Storm Dorian is not a threat to Jamaica.
