Representatives of both camps have expressed satisfaction with the process which began at 8:00 this morning.

Member of Parliament for St Catherine South Central and one of Holnessí chief campaign organisers, Dr Andrew Wheatley says except for some initial bungling at the opening of the polls this morning, the voting process has been smooth.

He says based on the voter turn out, he predicts that Holness will remain leader of the Opposition.

And West Portland MP, Daryl Vaz, the chief organiser for the Shaw team, says he is confident of a comfortable margin of victory for Shaw.

And while also expressing confidence of victory, JLP leadership contender, Audley Shaw, said the party needs to return to winning elections.

Speaking to The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre at the national arena this morning, said the party is likely to remain in opposition if it does not change some fundamental flaws.
