Manning Cup champions Jamaica College and daCosta Cup winners St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) will begin their hunt for the all-island Olivier Shield today when they face off in the first-leg.

The first leg will be played at STETHS in Santa Cruz, starting at 3 p.m.

The second leg will be played at the Stadium East field in Kingston on Saturday.

STETHS are searching for a triple title having won the Ben Francis Knockout and daCosta Cup titles.

STETHS earned the right to contest the Olivier Shield after a 4-1 victory over Garvey Maceo High in the daCosta Cup final on Saturday in Montego Bay.

And Jamaica College got into the Olivier Shield showdown by defeating Wolmer’s Boy 3-2 in the Manning Cup final on November 23 at the Stadium.

That title was decided in extra time after the teams battled to a 2-2 tie at the end of regulation time.
