FOOTBALL: JFF to stage Grassroots Girls festival in MoBay

The Jamaica Football Federation will stage a FIFA/Digicel Grassroots Girls festival at Jarrett Park in Montego Bay tomorrow.

The day’s activity is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m.
One hundred girls from the four parishes in the Western Conference are expected to benefit from the programme aimed at building the popularity of football among females.

The aim of the festival is to build the popularity of the sports among females.

National Under-17 and Under-20 representatives Khadijah Shaw and Deneisha Blackwood are scheduled to attend the festival.
