The first half of the 2013 all-island Olivier Shield showdown between Jamaica College (JC) and daCosta Cup winners St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) ended 2-0 with JC scoring the first two goals.

The Manning Cup champions, JC, scored the opening goal of the match in the first eight minutes of the game.

The ball which seemed to spend most of the first-half of the game in JCís possession was again placed in the back of the net in the 35th minute by the Kingston high school boys.
