The Spanish Town police in St Catherine have launched a manhunt for the person or persons responsible for the murder of an elderly farmer.

Dead is 74-year-old Beresford Robinson, a goat farmer of Hill Run district, St Catherine. His body was found in bushes near his farm with what appeared to be stab wounds.

Robinson has been missing from his home since last Tuesday.

It is believed Robinson may have been killed by goat thieves as goat carcasses were found on the farm.
