Kraigg Brathwaite is scheduled to arrive in New Zealand today to replace the injured Jamaican opener Chris Gayle in the West Indies squad.

Brathwaite was named the replacement player for the start of the test series but waited for two weeks for a visa.

The Barbadian batsman will arrive two days before the start of the second Test match.

The first game in the three-match series ended in a draw on Saturday in Dunedin.
Rain arrived just before lunch on the final day leaving New Zealand stranded at 79 for four, 33 runs short of a victory.
