Two brothers who are charged with shooting with intent, wounding with intent, attempted arson and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, resulting from an attack on a family in April, are scheduled to go before the St Elizabeth sitting of the Circuit Court in the Gun Court Division Thursday.

The case against Kwame and Kelvin Ricketts was transferred when they appeared in the Santa Cruz Resident Magistrate Court on Monday.

The men, who are from Siloah in the parish were arrested and charged following an attack on a family in the community of Windsor on April 26, hours before they were scheduled to appear in court in a matter of unlawful wounding against one of the complainants.

The allegations are that on April 26 a 50-year-old woman and her 18- and 8-year-old sons were at home when their house came under gun attack.

All three were reported to have been injured in the attack.
