HORSE RACING: Trainers' Association Trophy up for grabs today

An eleven-race card, dubbed Trainers’ Association Day, will take place at Caymanas Park today.

The programme will feature the Jamaica Racehorse Trainers' Association Trophy over 1200 metres.

Twelve starters have been declared including top contenders AWESOME CODE and MAMA BLOSSOM.

The two top contenders will be ridden by title chasing jockeys Dane Nelson and Omar Walker.

Nelson, the leading jockey, will be aboard AWESOME CODE, while Walker will ride MAMA BLOSSOM.

Post time on the card is noon and Power 106 FM will have live commentary on all the races.
