FOOTBALL: Under-20 Reggae Girls preparing for CONCACAF championship

Jamaica's young Reggae Girls are scheduled to stage three training sessions this weekend in preparation for the CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship.

That championship will be held in the Cayman Islands from January 9-19 and will qualify three teams to the Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Canada.

Two of the training session will take place today with the other scheduled for tomorrow.

For the CONCACAF Championship Jamaica will play out of Group ‘A’ alongside Costa Rica, Guatemala and the USA.

Group ‘B’ comprises host nation Cayman Islands, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago and Honduras.

Jamaica will play on Day One, January 9 against Guatemala.
