FOOTBALL: Lion humbles Sporting Central in Clarendon

Waterhouse and Humble Lion recorded victories as Match Day 14 in the 2013-2014 Red Stripe Premier League ended yesterday.

Waterhouse carved out a 1-0 victory against Cavalier at the Drewsland Stadium to improve from fourth place to third in the standings.

With the victory, Waterhouse moved to 21 points, eight behind leaders Harbour View.

And Humble Lion defeated Sporting Central Academy 2-1 to move from seventh to fourth on 19 points.

That game was played at the Effortville Community Centre in Clarendon.

Meanwhile, Harbour View, the defending champions, will enter Match Day 14 on Sunday with a six-point lead ahead of second place Montego Bay United.
