Published: Tuesday December 24, 2013 | 4:26 pm Comments 0

The National Water Commission (NWC) says it has received new reports of water discolouration in sections of Portmore in St Catherine.

The commission says every effort is being made by its distribution and water quality personnel to correct the problem.

The NWC says prior to the latest reports, there has been noticeable improvement in cases which emerged over the weekend.

The NWC says customers are also advised that they may observe water being flushed from hydrants, valves and washouts on the network as the Commission works to restore the system to full normality.
